I was watching Flavor NC and Lisa Prince was doing a segment on CCC. Decided to order 6 lbs of their catfish. Placed the order on Friday morning (7/15/2022) around 9:30 am. The catfish filets arrived at our house the next day at 1:30 pm. The fish was fresh, nicely packaged in a cooler, and had absolutely no fishy smell. I cooked 5 pieces that day. Soaked them in beer for 20 minutes, battered them in House-Autry and cooked 'em in a cast iron skillet. No fishy smell, no fishy taste, and absolutely awesome. My wife had never eaten catfish. Wonderful fresh catfish fillets. They were packaged very well. Our only problem with this shipment was mishandling by UPS. It was supposed to come to us the next day after ordering it took 2 days and in 90° heat the ice packs had completely melted and the fish was barely cool by the time we received it. Not the company's fault they did everything right. 10 lb of catfish 90° Heat 2 days out for delivery is not a good idea. I will order again when the weather...

Great fresh catfish. Packaged very well. Very nice fillets. We purchased 10 lb that were supposed to be delivered the following day. Our only problem with this was mishandling by UPS.
