What an absolutely lovely experience! The farm we normally go to for pick- your- own blueberries was closed to allow more fruit to ripen, which we didn't know when we left the house with our toddler bright and early, ready to pick! A quick Google search of the area brought me to Autumn Hills Orchard. Not only were they open, but a friendly person on the phone told us they had plenty of berries for picking! We arrived to a lovely hilltop Orchard, away from all the crazy busy crowds. We were the only ones in the blueberry bushes. They had 10 varieties the day we picked and had a small selection of other items for sale when you checked out - local goods, a handful of pumpkins, cold bottled cider, cider donuts from another orchard, etc. If you're looking for a more low key apple picking experience / trying to avoid the fall activity crowds, this is a great choice. Check out the antique scale they use to weigh your apples at the end - it still...
