Drove 3.5 hours to my kids could enjoy my experience from 2020. EVERYTHING was different and it was terrible. The process was insane. Hundreds off people waiting in line outside to be hauled inside to wait again for all three attracts. I did upgrade to a VIP pass to skip the lines.
During my first visit my scare experience started waiting in the car. There was staff dressed and roaming about. Even had scares on the hayride where staff jumped onto the wagon. The we were dropped at a gas station prop where the Fear Crops experience started. It was awesome. This year it was no fear and a maybe a minute walk through of mostly silence. We thought we took detour out the field too early, but nope that was it.
Fear factory was a walk through of pretty colors. While they still had the maze of doors to figure out, there was only one staff member to scare you, that just walked quickly behind you the entire time. Again, another joke.
Lastly the Fear Forest. Still quiet for most of the experience. Most of the staff just stared at you. Not really a haunting experience at all. My 12 year old enjoyed it, but anyone older than that I wouldn't advise to waste your money.
Overall, I felt there was not enough staff instead the attractions and as a result they filled it with halloween props and scenery. They even hired a young child in one of the attractions so I know they were struggling. Definitely a waste of money and wish I could...
Read moreWe went to Fear Forest this past Saturday. It was super busy. The line to the hayride to get to the attraction was long, but it did move relatively fast. We ended up getting the VIP tickets so we didn’t have to wait in line for the attractions, and I’m glad we did! All three attractions were just alright. There were not enough actors, and the actors that were there were boring. I don’t think I screamed or jumped one time. The main attraction was a pretty long trail, and some of the decorations were cool to look at, (lots of animatronics) but I just kept expecting someone to pop out and scare me and it just didn’t happen. Many rooms we walked in looked like there should have been someone hiding or waiting to scare you and there wasn’t. I’ve also been to places where there were actors in the area where you wait in line scaring you, and interacting with the crowds. I saw actors, but they were all just standing around. This would be a good place to take younger children, or those that are scared easily. Me and my family are Halloween/Horror junkies, and this place just didn’t do it for us. There are better haunted trails/attractions...
Read moreCome early they said. I got there at 6:30pm. We waited in line for 90 minutes to get on a wagon only to find out the wagon only took us to another line to buy tickets. We waited in the ticket line for about 20 minutes. We got in the shortest line and waited about an hour for the Fear Factory. It was very cool. I asked people up front of the fear forest haunt line what their wait time had been and they said 3 hours so we got in line for the corn maze and stood there for about 90 minutes and only moved about 10 ft. The staff were telling people to get in line because the park was closing at 11pm. We left the corn maze line and grabbed a snack and drink and was getting into the fear forest line which was now huge. So we paid 25 per person for 3 haunts, waited in lines for 4 hours in the dust to go thru a quick 10 minute haunt only to be told by staff the park would be closing soon. I was angry and went to the ticket window and complained. I didnt want a full refund but they gave our group one anyway which was nice, but a very disappointing night. How early to you have to come to get thru...
