Dollar General — Local services in Grove

Employees very rude. Store very cluttered but shelves are empty most of the time. Half the coolers don't work. Can't take dad in wheelchair in there bc can't get around. They have sale tags but won't honor even tho they either haven't took down or have on wrong items. I was charged wrong went back and was told I was being refunded when I returned item .never received money. Instead was charged again so I ended up paying $18 plus tax for one mop that was suppose to be $3. When u need refund bc they messed up there is no key holder there to help and cashier has no idea what to do.i heard employee cuss customer the other night and tell them to shop somewhere else. Customer was not in the wrong the cashier was.store needs new manager and employees that are trained.i have been assistant manager at dollar general and this is not how a store should be run.store definitely needs some help. I had my basket full of coupons to clip if I seen a good deal I would clip them. When checking out i had all my coupons ready and scanned everything was going fine until Carrie another cashier came up and was saying you can't use all thesa coupons I had to do separate transactions She called her manager continued to hassle me on are they copies where did I get them and why I had so many saying I'm being fraudulant. I had my red plums and pgs and my smartsource right there very evident they are real. She kept repeating fraud and copied it was very embarrassing. This is OUR Monkey Island Dollar General and it's quite unfortunate. Two years living here and it never gets any better than this. Empty shelves...everywhere. Need bread and milk? Pray first. Need something from housewares? Beauty? Paper products? Good luck. Oh! They have them...but is the shelf empty? Probably. This store has seen a temporary shut down and multiple managerial changes.
