I have grown up around horses my entire life this was something that was supposed to be fun for my daughters birthday and it turned into the worst experience around horses that I could have ever imagined for her the people were unbelievably unprofessional we had a 14 year old girl leading our trail ride they do not tell you ANYTHING they put us all on horses and I asked for a helmet for my daughter and was told no because I should have asked before we got on the horses we were told to keep our horses 3 feet apart from each other and the whole trail ride we had to keep stopping because they were right on top of each other before the trial ride started we were told how horribly tired and hungry the horses were because it was the end of the day mind you this is at 1 in the afternoon at one point on the trail ride there were 2 dogs that came running out from the back part of their property and scared the horses witch could have ended tragically especially with no helmets if I could give this place negative 10 stars I would I don't think my daughter will ever go on another trail ride thanks to this place it was AWEFUL!!!! I went horseback riding here in December. I was expecting a dull horse ride that didn’t involve any competence by the rider, but if was a full of learning new things and controlling animals with respect. The work staff has absolute respect for the animals they have on that ranch, they will answer all your questions, and let you experience real horseback riding. I was a beginner when I rode and nothing was difficult to understand and if my horse started to speed up it was my duty as a rider to control my horse, with assistance by the staff. If you are going horseback riding please go with confidence, that was the most important thing I learned. The trail that we went on was full of nature and lake side views. I took my wife and two children as well as family here for a wonderful hour long horse ride. The ride itself is pasture riding, so no worries about steep hills on the horses.
