JK Tile — Local services in Guam

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY ANY DOOR FROM JK TILE!!!! The doorknob that comes with the door has a faulty mechanism. Once last year it locked me out and I had to pay for a locksmith to change the doorknob. At that time the door was only installed for 6 months and so they provided me with another one. No explanation they just gave me another doorknob because I was upset. No one else in Guam sells these doorknobs. Yesterday, it locked me out again. The extra security lock from the inside engaged when you lock the door from the outside. Crazy right! The door is so secured that you can not go into your own house. I can deal with this crisis but JK tile has poor customer service. Imagine it is their doorknob that is faulty and they told me I have to pay 195.00 for their contractor to remove the doorknob, purchase a new doorknob for 120.00 which is the same brand, and it is not a guarantee that it would not happen again. Imagine that! Yesterday, the owners told me the doorknob has only one year warranty. It is not electrical so why is there a warranty on a doorknob? Why was I not told that there is a warranty on the doorknob last year or when I purchased the door? I would have questioned that. I believe they just created a warranty yesterday because they know that their locks are faulty. I had to hire a locksmith, bless his heart Mr. Ed Concepcion who came to rescue me. He told me that he has been getting calls from people with the same problem, being locked out of their house because of JK Tile's doorknob. When I called him he already knew it was a door I purchased from JK tile. There is more to this story but I won't bore you with the details. JUST BE MINDFUL WHEN YOU PURCHASE A DOOR FROM JK TILE. Terrible service!!! All the employees look like they hate their jobs. Waited half hr no service so i just left . They would not give you any eye contact. Too bad because i was going to spend alot of mony. Ill go to home...
