Not much to see here, but there is a bit of black sand and a lot of washed up coconuts and driftwood. If you have ever seen a dry river bed in the desert where the iron has washed out of the sand, that’s what this is. Most of the sand is brown, but you can find black sand if you look for it. All the washed up coconuts and driftwood are probably the coolest thing. The water was too rough to play in safely, and the beach was small and kind of forgettable. Not awful, just not amazing. The bathrooms were also...

Really interesting beach. It is one of only 4 green sand beaches in the world. It obviously isn't that green but if you look closely at the sand there's tiny little peridot pieces mixed in. There's also magnetic black sand which is really cool. If you bring a fairly strong magnet you can pick the black sand up and separate it from the brown and green grains. It's a local surf spot and there's usually a little wood-fired grilled pizza food truck across the street. It's a cool place to...

The bathrooms were also inexplicably locked up.

Passed by this beach on a drive around Guam. The sand isn’t black, more like brown, but still pretty to see. The little wooden house deck is cute.
