Not much to see here, but there is a bit of black sand and a lot of washed up coconuts and driftwood. If you have ever seen a dry river bed in the desert where the iron has washed out of the sand, that’s what this is. Most of the sand is brown, but you can find black sand if you look for it. Read moreReally interesting beach. It is one of only 4 green sand beaches in the world. It obviously isn't that green but if you look closely at the sand there's tiny little peridot pieces mixed in. There's also magnetic black sand which is really cool. If you bring a fairly strong magnet you can pick the black sand up and separate it from the brown and green grains.
