Super cool cliff, lots of history. Kind of ruins it with all the recent names on there though. No one cares Karen that your forgettable, boring family took a trip here in 2019. Quit ruining history by being selfish! That being said there’s a fenced off area with much older names behind it. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean.

Spent more time here than I thought I would. It was fun walking along the wall hunting for the names carved in it from the 1800's. Sad that so many are probably destroyed because so many from just about every year since can also be found.

This was my third trip to see the cliff. It's still a wonder that the signatures still survive in the sandstone. There is a small graveyard here as well as a short trail around one side of the cliff. Portable restroom is available.

I only gave this a 4 because people in modern times have been carving their names on it too so, aside from the area that is fenced off so people can't carve over it, you really need to open your eyes and look closely for old carvings. Without the modern day carvings, it would get a 5 from me as I did find some...

Extremely difficult to identify any original names due to the thousands of people that have defaced the rock with their own insignificant additions. So disappointing.

I would recommend independence rock further west on the trail as it has not seen the same level...
