The Galena Territory Association — Local services in Guilford Township

As with almost ALL legislative bodies extant in the U.S., the constituents have no idea what they're doing. Are they improving people's lives? No? Is anyone happier? No. Are Territory residents getting their hard-earned dollar's worth on the services and amenities provided by the association? No. The residents' pleasure is subordinate to the whims of the GTA Board and the profits of various contractors. If an owner, for instance, cannot enjoy either the indoor or the outdoor pool in the summertime because of an inundation of screaming children and their attendant families (half of whom are sporadic short-term renters), what is the point of paying association fees?

There are a few bright spots -- like several of the employees (who are warm and genial) performing exemplary "customer service," but overall the management of the owner's complex and the marina is deficient if...

Visiting our friends that live in the Territories, and they had a craft fair happening that we all enjoyed at the Owners' Club. Probably 30 vendors set up in the large upstairs room, with a few outside the door, or just as you entered the building. Very nice selection from vendors, I found a couple of new wood snowmen faces for front of garage! My friend stocked up on jams and jellies for this year's presents to friends and family! This is a seasonal special event. During the summer they had Farmers market on Sunday mornings from the local area, with a couple of vendors mixed in from the area. Nice venue to hold these events!! We are blessed to live in the Galena Territory neighborhood and so grateful to the staff at the GTA for being so helpful and friendly! THANK YOU, GTA! The Galena Territory Association (GTA) was beyond helpful to my family in our 2022 move to Galena. We ran into some obstacles during our cross country move, and if it weren't for individuals working at the GTA being so helpful and accommodating to us, the challenges would have been overwhelming. Now that we've been living in the territory for more than 2 years, we are still grateful to the GTA for all they do to maintain this beautiful, dark-sky, wildlife habitat neighborhood, including the facilities, and...
