Excellent experience with Voltz. I had installed light switches and outlets throughout the house, and, some months later, one of the switches in the kitchen began warping. The warping seemed like it was from heat, and I was concerned I had made a mistake with my installation. I called Voltz, and Technician Logan came out same day. He did a thorough inspection of the switch, the wiring, and the electrical panel, not identifying a clear problem but confident the most dangerous causes were ruled out. He recommended replacing the switches, moving a nearby air fryer that may be drawing a lot of current through the j-box, and monitoring for recurrence. On his way out, he realized the most likely explanation was from direct heat off the nearby appliances ie air fryer. It seems obvious in hindsight, but I had already cleared the appliances away from the switches and asked for an inspection of the electrical. still, Logan thought critically about the issue and was able to find the real explanation even though it wasn’t an electrical issue. Even more, he was confident enough in his inspection to provide appropriate peace of mind, even if he hadn’t been thinking...

I called the Voltz office and they were able to schedule me within 2 days. JD showed up and I quickly realized that not only was he professional and punctual, but he was extremely knowledgeable. He said he generally worked on a different brand of generator, but that did not deter him. The generator had not worked for quite some time so he methodically went through all the steps to get the generator up and running. He tested the generator twice just to make sure that the generator was functioning as it should. Also, he strongly suggested that a plumber should come to the house to test all the lines since it runs on propane and has not been checked for quite a while. We are having JD back to program the generator to the rooms we want the generator to have electricity to in case of a black out. Right now, the generator is not dedicated to the rooms we want electricity in. I highly recommend Voltz. If all techs are like JD, then you can be assured that you will be well...

I called this company on a referral from a friend because I needed a quote for some bath room electrical work. Even though their website says FREE ESTIMATES Voltz charged me $115.00 to go to the property and take a look. I agreed to pay the money so I could learn what the job entailed and what the cost would be. The owner went to the property but would not give me the estimate until I paid him. I am a window, I live out of state and this is a rental property. I would be happy to pay for the estimate once I receive its but he wanted me to pay without giving me any information. NO WORK WAS PERFORMED. I believe that if I were a man he would have treated me differently and he is taking advantage of me as a woman. I would not recommend doing business with these people.
