Having never been to Gulf Shores, I was wary about renting a condo. We rented Lighthouse 1101. I’m beyond pleased to say that this condo met and exceeded all expectations we had. For a family of 5 (2 adults, 1 teen, 2 young children) it was the perfect fit. The keyless entry was fantastic. The condo was very large and allowed us the space we needed. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for cooking. The couch was ultra comfy, as were all the beds. And the view! The view was amazing, even during the brunt of Tropical Storm Cristobal. The wrap around balcony was breathtaking. Easy access to the parking garage, pools, and beach. The short walk to the beach was definitely a plus with small children. Management was very responsive when we contacted them about a couple minor issues. All in all, I can say we will absolutely be back- I think we were way too spoiled in this condo to ever book...

Rude doesn’t even begin to describe Susan. I had booked When Pigs Fly for a weekend with my friends using a .Edu email address and was called making sure we were all over 25. We were so I was told the vacation would be confirmed and it was. I received word that the vacation was booked through VRBO. The next day Susan told me I needed to email every persons ID to prove age verification. I was hesitant to do so but did. After she received the ID’s proving the age she then emailed me saying there would be an additional $500 security deposit. This was after the vacation had been confirmed and I already paid a damage fee wavier. I called to ask about the reasoning and was told our group was a big red flag. We have owned our beachfront house in Gulf Shores for 20 years and for the last 8 years it has been managed by GSVR. We had dealt with two other rental companies prior to this and we have had other rental properties. GSVR are by far the most efficient, hands on company we have dealt with (as an owner and for our renters). Not only do they rent our house out consistently but they do an excellent job of Housekeeping and making sure the house is treated responsibly. I am always happy whenever we visit with the condition of our property , especially considering the amount of people that pass through it every year.
