I don't understand the favorable reviews here, but since there are only 6, I suspect they are written by cast and crew of Swedish.
RUN, don walk, AWAY from this place. The definition of fraud is a misstatement of material fact, knowing it is not true and that it will be relied upon, the other party relies upon it and is damaged.. This place is a FRAUD.
My son brought my C70 convertible to these assclowns because of a coolant leak. Given the C70 has seen better days, but overall it was a reliable fun car. After their inspection, they reported that the radiator failed and needed to be replaced. The repair was performed at a cost of nearly $1,000, we paid and drove away. That was in late November 2012.
Fast forward to May, 2013. The car has about 6,000 more miles on it than in November and the coolant again is leaking. My son returns the car to Swedish for inspection. Low and behold they discover that who ever worked on the radiator last damaged it, and repaired the damage with "a white substance" and that there is a wrong hose on the radiator. Understand that my son isn't one to work on cars, especially cars that are running fine, so the hood wasn't even opened since November when Swedish worked their magic. The shop manager goes on and on about who ever worked on that radiator not doing things properly, then states in no uncertain terms that it they are not responsible. They also state that the car is now undrivable because of overheating. We ultimately called a junk yard and scrapped the car. Because of Swedish, this C70 went from a reliable fun older car to scrap. Nice job assclowns.
Swedish asserts that someone else must have performed this repair. This is unbelievable. Why in the world after paying $1,000 would we have anyone else work on what Swedish already did??? Perhaps someone broke into my garage and performed the shoddy repair without our knowing???? My requests to speak with the owner went unanswered.
I just can't believe this place. Its one thing to do shoddy work, and another level to refuse to accept responsibility. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU...
Read moreMy car had so much wrong with it I could probably just buy a new car with how much full repairs would have been. But since my plan is to buy a van or a bus soon and I just need my car to last a couple more years, Brett was very helpful in letting me know the things I needed to get done to make my car last that long. It’s not worth much internally or cosmetically and I knew that. I just wanted the bare minimum. I really appreciated their honesty and integrity. As a woman, I always enter auto shops prepared for someone to try to swindle me out of money by telling me I need xyz because how would I know?
My bill was still $900+ but full repairs would have been $2,000+. And the majority of the cost was labor which you can’t get mad at.. I bought a Volvo for crying out loud and there’s a reason the labor is worth so much: if I could do it myself I would. But I can’t. So I was thankful to give my money to trustworthy people.
I expected to be there all day but they finished in a could hours and I got to enjoy my day off! Highly recommend these dudes. Matt/Mac (sorry) at the front desk was super nice and the guy working on my car always walked back inside with a smile.
Can’t forget to mention Beans. The adorable pug that is there sometimes. She’s precious and makes waiting for your car (and the bill) so...
Read moreSwedish is simply the best Volvo service in Colorado.
I live in Fort Collins, who has their own Volvo specialist, but I always find myself coming back to Swedish. I've not found a comparable level of professionalism anywhere. I've had my CV axle done here, along with a number of other things that I can't quite remember (pretty sure an oil change or two as well!). The prices have been reasonable (hard to do in Boulder if we're being honest), the service was quick as far as autos are concerned, and the people I met while scheduling and waiting were beyond nice.
Earlier today (10/14/21) I brought my '96 850 GLT in as it was low on transmission fluid. Brett and Matthew were at the front desk and were quick to top me off without charge. I may just be a naive college student, but I just don't see that happening anywhere else. This is also not the first time they've done that for me. Two years ago, the same issue came up and while they did charge me, they let me pay them back the next day. And it wasn't even much, something in the realm of $10-15.
I have endless praise for this business and the people that work there. If you have a Volvo, of any kind, these guys should be the first people you call.
And there's almost always a cool Volvo you can gawk at when you bring yours in. Or maybe...
