This course is beautiful and very fun to play. This was my third time. Having said that, I did not have a good experience this time. Paid 70 for Green fee with cart. I was informed when I made the tee time it would be most likely cart path only. The cart paths seem to have a different elevation than the fairways, so after 5 holes of climbing up and down in hot weather I had to stop. I went back to the pro shop and told them I couldn't manage the course like I hoped. I'm 60 and have a heart condition. They gave me a rain check that expires in a month. I vacation here twice a year. Looks like I'm out the 70 bucks. Every rain check I have ever received at any course I have ever played was either good for a year or at least till the end of the season. I love the course, but I probably will...

Lots of water and a layout with lots of elevation changes requires you to do more than just grip it and rip it. You need to be accurate on several tee and approach shots to keep par as an option.
The club house and staff are great. Call ahead and your turn at 9 will be quick. Strongly recommend the bloody Mary to calm nerves going into the back 9.

Hole 3 beautiful little par 3 hole surrounded by water on 3 sides. Hole 4 first part 5 (513 yrds) from back tees. Hole 5 par 3 hitting from raised tee box over a lake to a large heavily undulating green. Hole 7 need a great tee shot, over water all up hill. Hole 8 will break your heart.
