Here we are local people of Gurley that always shop here and spend PLENTY of money….. the experience just a few minutes ago on 8/31/22 around 6pm, a RUDE woman named Dorthia or whatever wants to stand over you while you are trying to find a C type charger and then ask “can I help you”? Said “ We’ll they sure aren’t there”! She left the register with customers to come do this action also! The store manager witnessed it himself and seen the ridiculous behavior she had!! This store has always been polite and helpful and is a good hometown store. I have to say now that whoever this woman is, regardless even if she’s a DM, you have no right and you don’t know ANYTHING about customer service and need to be demoted to a buggy retriever and learn how to be a good employee. I will spread this to every person I talk to and also she will be turned into Corporate! I myself managed DG for many years and know very well how it all works and this lady needs dealt with and also owes this customer a face to face apology for accusing her of stealing and for harassing her! That’s bad business and you need to worry about actual thieves not someone who actually needed help finding something you sell!! She is a horrible excuse of a DG employee and now your customer rate is gonna go extremely down!! The stores manager is a nice guy and does well. That so called employee is rude and very judgmental. Read moreAisles were extremely tight especially with the big shopping carts. This DG seemed to be extremely unorganized and didn't have the flow like the others I have shopped at. I felt like I was walking around in circles looking for the items I needed to buy as the aisles weren't marked very well. Checking out was a nightmare. Very long lines, and because the cash registers are all on one long counter, made it hard to retrieve my items, to put them in my cart. The checkout aisle was made ever tighter with display boxes of items for sale, and this make it harder for customers that were trying to leave the store with their carts as they didn't have room to move around the person in front of them. He just kept smiling a “smart a* way saying go ahead, go ahead” the only way to fix it would have been to refund and re-ring everything. They are all always rude.
