I want to share my worst experience at the Gypsum Costco, this past Monday January 7th I went to the store for groceries shopping as usual, at the time I got to the cashier to pay for my groceries my membership card was not going through, so the attendant had to call a store supervisor to see what the problem was. I never expect the supervisor, with so low professionalism in customer service to tell me, that in one of my previous visit to the store I pay my groceries with someone else's credit card, she said it so loud in the line that even people that I know heard what she said and it made so embarrassed, but I the same time I felt bad to be accused of using someone else's credit card. I told her to explain me why she was accusing me of using someone else's credit card and the way I understood from her is that I grabbed the credit card from the little counter top, where you pay at the time I was getting upset for the accusation and she told me if I don't pay I couldn't buy the groceries I had in my shopping cart. After that, we moved to another cashier area to talk about the situation and there was another supervisor who got there to explain me better about what happened, she explain me better that when I went to the store back in December and by accident the customer in front of me waved his credit card before leaving the cashier area and this made to charged his credit card. After I checked my bank account on that date I was able to verify my card wasn't charged for those groceries and I paid for them, at this time I paid to the supervisor with "NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS" Guess what happened after I went back to pay for my groceries in the line to with another cashier, my membership did not work again, so she took the money to pay for that transaction and forgot to remove the lock, again "POOR CUSTOMER SKILLS" from this supervisor, which did not give me an apology, that explains her level of education. I have talked to Susan in the store and will talk to her manager, but I wanted to expressed my frustration in case this is happening to others. I love the store but I am not considering to renew my membership next time SORRY I have...
Read moreDon’t buy anything unless you physically see they have it in stock. I went in to buy an Apple Watch. Costco has a convoluted over complicated process which you have to go through to buy most of their big ticket items like tv’s and computers. Where you have to take a picture of the sign which has a sku number on it. Go up to the register show them the picture then you pay for it and then you stand there while they go get it for you, most of the time. So I did this for the Apple Watch, I paid for it and then I stood there for 15mins for then finally someone to come up and ask what computer I got? I explained it was just an Apple Watch. He went back for another 5mins and then came out and finally told me they were sold out. After I already paid! Any other store this never would’ve happened because they don’t have incompetent employees trying to use over complicated systems. So then they refund me and tell me I can order it online. But the refund takes up to at least 3 business days so I am %100 paying the price for their mistake and now they think I’m going to be out $1000 for the next week over a watch. I’ve never felt like a business doesn’t care about my money like I’ve felt with Costco over this dumb watch. I tried to get this for myself as a reward but I don’t even want it anymore. If this stays the way it is and Costco doesn’t do something to make it right this will be my last time shopping there. Easier and cheaper and go to wal mart and they don’t...
Read moreI’m only giving this two stars because the membership representative who signed me up for my membership was excellent. But the experience went down hill from there. The product selection wasn’t nearly as good as I expected and any products that were actually reasonably priced are Kirkland products. Most name brand items didn’t seem much cheaper than any other box store like Walmart or target making the membership useless. Now the thing that upset me more than anything was the fact that it wasn’t until I had done all my shopping and gone to checkout that I was made aware I couldn’t pay with anything other than Visa credit cards which I don’t have or Debit cards which I don’t use. I was told I could pay with cash but there wasn’t an atm and then told to pay with check and let be honest who carries checks any more? I immediately went back to the membership desk to cancel before leaving. If Costco won’t take my money the way I want to spend it I won’t be spending it there. I’ll happily take my business to BJs or Sam’s club in Denver where I know for a fact they will take my money in any way shape or form. I want to make it clear it wasn’t the cleanliness or the employees who failed in this case it’s Costco as a...
