Dollar General — Local services in Hackett

There's always room for improvement. I've seen the horrible 1 rating stars from 2-5 years ago. People may have been different back then, but the associated today (July of 2025) help you save every bit of your dollar that they can. Unfortunately the Dollar General looks like about 90% of the other Dollar General stores that I have been in (Mostly in Fort Smith), cluttered. As an old associate that use to work at a DG over 30 years ago, I can attest, this is not the fault of the associates. I'm still surprised that the company still relies on only 2-3 people to actually run their store. The Employees are rude the bathroom always smells like sewer the wait at the register is ridiculously long and could be eliminated if they had employees that knew what they were doing and would shut up and not have 15 minute conversations when the line is reaching the back of the store....They need to clean house hire a manager that isn't lazy and actually hires people and TRAINS THEM. 4/25/20 who ever the man anf women working night shift closing was extremely rude and at 9 on the dot I checked out and she refusef to let me purchacr cigs along eith thr items I wad in the middle of payibg for, he reason was becauze itd already 9pm while her drawer was open as she counted back my change.
