You'd be a fool to do business with these people!

If I could give these CROOKS ZERO stars, I would! I first dealt with them 5 years ago when I wanted a replacement A/C for the BOX unit my parents had installed many years before. So you'd assume they'd replace with a BOX unit, right? NO!! These dummies installed a WINDOW unit in the wall! I asked for a quote, and was told $350. The $350 was for the unit and he did not include another $300 for "labor" in the quote. When you ask for a quote, you expect it to be an estimated TOTAL cost. I went there to pay it in person to tell the old bitty behind the counter that I would not do business with them again and felt I should tell them why. She was very defensive, but they ripped me off!

Five years later and the unit starts beeping. I changed the batteries in the remote but that did not help. As much as I detested calling them, I felt I had no other choice. They sent the same dummy that installed the unit. He is as dumb as a box of rocks! Oh, yeah, agreed that it was beeping but could not tell me why. Then he asked ME if I had the installation manual! I told him yes and handed it to him. I told him that I thought it was a circuit board (as I read the dang manual myself).

Then Alan calls me the next day to tell me that the circuit board replacement would cost $500!! Why so much? I had already priced it on line and the circuit boards are less than $100. Well, they'd have to take the unit out of the wall to repair! I think he wanted me to buy some unit they had sitting around there to get rid of and thought I'd be the sucker to buy another window unit (that's what she told me it was on the phone!). Once bitten, twice shy. I decided against it. The beeping went away on its own.

Then I get a bill for $150!! For doing what? Quote from their website: "Our experts give the client a FREE ESTIMATE" They didn't do any work on the unit; what am I being billed for? These people are nothing but crooks! Like the other gentleman, I'm not one to give negative reviews but both experiences with these people left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I would never recommend...

While my first experience with this company was positive, it went down hill very quickly to the point that I would not recommend anyone using due to the way they treated me.

To detail the experience, I had called them for an AC repair which they took care of very quickly but also told me I need a new system duct work and all which they gave me a quote to do the work. A week later my system broke again I called to discuss their quote further. The person in charge said he would have to call me back the next day. When I finally spoke to him the following day he had already sent someone to my place to make repair without my authorization and was angry with me because I was not home and did not answer my phone on the first call. When I told him that all I was trying to do was get some questions about the quote answered he again got angry and again yelled at me when I said I was getting additional quotes to replace my AC.

They accused me of trying to cheat them and stab them in the back when all I was doing was trying to be an informed consumer. The man I spoke with yelled at me repeatedly and would not let me speak. He was very rude and abusive demanding that I tell me who else I was getting quote from and making disparaging comments about his competition. In all very unprofessional in their treatment of a potential customer.

I will not be working with them in the future and advise other to be cautious and avoid them as well. I am not a fan of leaving negative reviews online however if I can help another customer avoid their abusive treatment, I will do...

T & C , came today form my spring/ summer AC preventative maintenance. Steven & Coby worked in the Hot Attic, did everything there then outside to gage and check the compressor and hoses. Everything was as it should be. Steven kept me informed every step of the way. Coby was real focused on cleaning our coils and assuring us that Freon and pressure were on target. I’ve been a T&C customer for years, and today I got the best & most attentive service ever. They’ve earned a 10-plus from the Bates family.
