SmoKing Shop — Local services in Ham Lake

This is a pretty good smoke shop with a large selection of products. The employee's are nice and helpful and the best part is their hours they are open until midnight although more than once I've left to go their and had shown up at 11:40pm and another time at 11:45pm and both times the store was closed and no one around. I inquired about this when I showed up the day after one of these visits and the person working was a little thrown off by me telling him the store was closed the previous night when I showed up before 12:00am and no one was around and the store was closed he didn't know what to say except that he himself did not work last night so he couldn't tell me why the store was closed early and that was all he could say about it so I just told him he should find out who was working and let them know that the sign says they are open until midnight and this the store should be open until that time also. I have found their prices are pretty close to the average prices that I see at other smoke shops in the area.The last time I was their they were out of my tobacco that I always get and I notified the person working that they were out of my tobacco and he picked up the phone and called who he said was the owner of the store and I was told that they would have my tobacco in stock the following day. I waited 3 day before I came back to the store and they were still out of my tobacco I did tell the person working of this situation and he also said he would notify the management of this and I returned a week later and still no tobacco so I've have begun to get my tobacco at a different store now. Unfortunately you can have the biggest store and the best selection and the nicest employees but if you can't keep your product on your shelves and a customer can't trust that you will get what they want back in stock you will loose most customers this way. I will say if this situation could be corrected because of their hours of operation and being open until midnight I would come back and shop...

I've been debating writing this review for the past year. normally I would let these things go but after seeing how they treat their employees like they aren't worth a damn I need to say a few things. first, i cant give negative stars so you get a one. if you saw what I saw, heard what I heard, was treated how i was treated, then you'd avoid this shop like the plague. seriously cant even count the times i was told I was replaceable, and not just in a normal way but by explicitly saying they would hire migrant/undocumented labor that they would in turn not have to pay as much

I have purchased here before and have been very happy but today I left very unhappy and without anything I stopped in for.. I walk in and head straight for the glass bongs/dab rigs and right away someone came and asked if I needed the glass door opened to pick something I said I was fine at the moment as I wanted to browse before making my selection.. after I say that he doesn't walk away and as I spend the next 5-10 min browsing he is right next to me if I walk from one display to another he would follow me from display to display.. I made it very obvious and made sure to let it be known that I was uncomfortable with him being next to me and breathing down my neck as I'm trying to shop... he still doesn't leave Finally, I had to look at him and tell him I wouldn't be making a purchase because I was uncomfortable To which he got angry at me and gave me attitude like I did something wrong. Typically when a customer comes into the store, you come up. Ask if they need help if they say no, they will come find you when they need it. But that was not what happened instead, when I was asked if I needed help when I said no I had him follow me my entire time. I was shopping I was about to spend a little over $200 in your store.
