Update - I called to verify if the return was processed and I was asked to call back tomorrow because the person that handles that is out on the road. I asked if the person was serious because I am just in disbelief that this is the best customer service a company can provide. You couldn’t take my name and number to have the person return my call? I regret making this purchase more and more each time I interact with them. If I could give them zero stars I would!

I placed an order online for replacement firebrick and hearth. I was charged for the purchase and shipping then 4 days later I received an email requesting an additional $230 in shipping fees. When I called the rude gentleman that answered the phone explained the charge was due to the items needing to be shipped by truck. My purchase price was $239 so when I requested the refund because shipping was literally as much as the purchase the gentleman quickly tried to disconnect the call. I had to say wait and ask how long it would take the refund to post since they had already so kindly charged me for the purchase. Bewares this place!!. I took a power washer in for an estimate. I was told on phone and in person estimate was 30.00. They charged my credit card 30.00 3+ weeks later they call with estimate was high because they broke a part. I said no give me back machine. 3 more weeks go by till they put it back together and now they want 50.00 cash or I can't get power washer back.

Went there with police nothing they could do, owner Warren is non responsive will not take calls even if he answer phone he hands off to secretary. They told me and police that she made error and it should have been 60.00 for estimate, which I would have never brought unit there it that was the case.

Anyway long story short, over 2 months of BS and I am out 50.00 with broken unit, original part I damaged was a 10.00 but they broke part worth more.

Plus beware as they call themselves tool and equipment but also Baltimore electronics and have a different email and web site. Very shady. Make sure to get paperwork with detailed info...

Warren is an ABSOULTE NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH! DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS NON PROFESSONAL THIEF! Ordered a control board for an AC Machine and after speaking with the manufacturer tech line it was defective. The tech line advised us to contact TESS Tools for warranty replacement .
