I thought the funny farm was awesome. I think you and your staff are doing a amazing job careing for the animals . I can tell the funny farm is all about the animals and taking care of them . I know it's not easy running the farm because I grew up on a farm taking care of animals like the ones yous have there It took me back to my childhood on our farm. Anyone can see how much you all care about the animals and how important what yous are doing and it's all volunteers I respect the work that you are doing there I've been telling everyone I know that they to come see the funny farm to see the animals it's amazing how they just walk up to you and they're so gentle when you feed them I had a great time . I was impressed with the funny farm how clean it was and how knowledgeable and friendly everyone was Just watching the children's faces light up as they were going towards the animals or the animals were coming towards them I sincerely apologize I would have never intentionally hurt any ones feelings especially after I saw how hard everyone works there to take care of the animals when I was leaving I said to both of you thank you so much I had a great time everyone there were so friendly answered any question that I asked. I have a lot of respect for everything you do for the animals . Your doing something that I wished I could do my whole adult life keep up the great work there's not a whole lot of people out there that are as selfless as You Are Please except my apology It was truly a mistake I'm sure you'll see me again because I've been telling everyone I Know about the funny farm and everyone that I told about your FUNNY FARM said THEY CAN'T WAIT TO BRING THEIR CHILDREN TO THE FUNNY FARM IF I COULD HAVE GIVING YOU 10 STARS I...

My son saw a caucasian woman (worker) driving the cart through the path (next to the horses beside the red tractor) to finish her working duties and quickly tried to step out of her way. She then saw my son and decided it was a perfect time to make an unnecessary "joke." The worker, as she saw my son moving out the way, made a comment "i would never run over the children or animals that got in the way but him (points to my husband) I would gladly run over" and just drives away. She thought it was funny while we all (my husband, children and myself) just stood there offended (even other people around us looked uncomfortable). It didn't set well with us, neither was it assuring to my children that it was a joke and that someone wouldn't actually run their father over. In a time where black people are being killed, lynched (yes, we are still being lynched in 2023), and racially discriminated, we don't find these "jokes" appropriate. It was distasteful and not something that is welcoming or encouraging to come back and experience again. That was not the first time we have gone to the funny farm but it will most definitely be our last time. There are things that you say, and there are things that you never allow your lips to udder, and that comment is one that should have...

First off, I want to say I am so thankful that this rescue takes in animals that probably would not have a chance. Also the staff was very polite and nice. However, I do have a couple suggestions and cons of this rescue. First off, there was no rhyme or reason of placement of the animals, it would of been nice if all the animals we’re placed near like animals, for examples all the birds should be in one sanctuary so we can enjoy them at one time, all the horses should be together, and so on. Half the time I did not know where to go or what I was seeing. Also it would also be nice to have the signs by each sanctuary explaining the animals and how they were rescued, I’m a teacher and I always want to learn and I don’t feel like there is enough learning about how these animals were rescued. They also need a washing hand station near the bird sanctuary because I wouldn’t even let my kids enjoy the birds because there was no where to wash our hands, we own a small homestead and farm so we know this is important. Lastly, the water and animals were filthy, maybe if you charged a small entrance fee, with a donation box for feeding and taking care of the animals, the entrance fee could be for building up each sanctuary or pen. This review is coming from...

The Funny Farm animal rescue is a great place to visit and they REALLY care about the welfare of neglected or abused animals who's previous owners couldn't or didn't take care of them any longer. It's beyond belief that these so called "vegan" losers would attack a organization like this! They should be ashamed! I'm 100% sure every vegan sprouting hate was eating meat not long ago, but made the personal decision to not eat meat. So now, what? Everyone else is evil because they haven't jumped on the vegan bus? I'm pretty sure non of the posters that have criticized the Funny Farm are really against harming ALL forms of life that exist in their daily lives... Do they swat flies or kill fleas on their pets? Do they drive cars that masacre bugs so they can go eat their veggie burger? Being hateful to an organization like the Funny Farm just exposes these vegan bots as being shallow and short minded. Gee, what would help a meat eater care more about an animal more.... Someone screaming and posting hateful rants...or a lovely place like the Funny Farm that shows kids and adults alike that animals can be funny, loving and compassionate and that they deserve the same from us. Thank you Funny Farm for Actually making a Difference!

If I could give here wayyy more than a million stars I would Staff is amazing, all the animals are adorable. Fun place to have an event if you love animals! You can pay and they give you a cup of apples/carrots for the others and lettuce for the ducks. I love Yogi and the cats in the Catio (the cats are adoptable!!!!) The very first cat in the photos is named French toast 😭😭 Don’t forget to volunteer or donate!!!

PROS: -No price gouging. Has inexpensive snacks and cold drinks (fruit juice, water, soda, gatorade) to keep refreshed while you walk around! -The food that you buy to feed the animals is $4 per little bucket! -Extremely interactive!! Puts any petting zoo to shame. Many animals are allowed to free roam and some WILL follow you around for a treat! 99% of them are extremely polite about it, though, from the smallest rooster to the largest cow. Even the impolite ones will only get in your personal bubble or give you a nudge! -Has actual hand-washing stations, instead of just cheap sanitizer dispensers! CONS: -There is obviously a risk of getting injured, but a wavier is given as soon as you enter that explains any and all risks. (Anything with hooves can kick and anything with a mouth can bite. Animals are animals. If you're genuinely uncomfortable with those risks, don't come! However, the worst I got on my visit was a very brazen goose nipping at my thigh, haha.) TIPS: -Wear long pants and walking shoes you don't care about getting dirty/muddy! -If you or your children have any sensory sensitivities, please take care! Animals are stinky and can be loud, and it can be a little much if you're not used to it.
