Ms. Madi Mulberry's Thrift Shop & Neighborhood Market — Local services in Hammond

I have been going to this place for years, yet it was NEVER as amazing as it is now that Madi has moved here and started Madi Mulberry’s. She and her nephew, Wade are the best! She has made that little shop what it is. I go every week and seem to find a load of treasures. I never feel as if the same old things are there. She keeps it totally updated, and everything is well marked and organized. I hope to see this business continue to thrive, for it has made me happy on every occasion I’ve been. The prices are overly fair. I love how she doesn’t sell donations that are unsellable due to a small hole or stain or a missing piece. In that case, she lets you have the item for free. She always has great sales and such creative ways of getting people in like half off certain stickers sales and even name your price sales. I feel so lucky to live by this store. My first time visiting .. I had been following them on Facebook & I went into Waffle House this morning & asked my ladies there if they’ve heard of Ms. Madi Mulberry Thrift shop & they were like “yes” I was looking for formal dress (I rarely wear dresses) so why not go to a local thrift store & shop & support ! When I pulled up there were a few vendors outside , a bounce house & lots of bargain & deals signs ! I got super excited 😳😆😆 So we walked in was greeted by guests , the staff & my eyes got really big as we walked around & saw the prices , deals & signs & I asked about dresses & there’s a boutique in the back - wow - so I fins something to try on & I head on over to the dressing room area & there’s this shelf with items ‘ a sign - see below in photos - So if you’re in the area & looking to support local be sure to stop by & I met Madi herself ! This is the best place to shop,,always cheap and the owner and works here are very friendly,,when my family and I had to move and start over, this shop saved,us i told her what was going on and I left there with a truck load of stuff we needed ,from food to clothes and shoes, to dishes and books and toys for the kids, forks pots glasses , blankets,,thank you so much for been there for the small ppl..we would have not made it with out you and your shop and yalls Prayers ...
