Rosa did hair and make-up for my wedding for me and my mom, my mother-in-law and two of my sisters-in-law. I had a really hard time finding a make-up artist who had demonstrated experience with different skin tones and could accomodate a smaller wedding party. I was SO happy to find Rosa - she was lovely and fun to work with, she did an incredible job fulfilling my minimalist hair/make-up dreams and she was responsive to each of our styles/requests. I did a trial with her where she really took the time to listen to what I was looking for. She seemed really intentional about every product that she used, which meant she made each of us feel beautiful without piling on make-up. My mom was so thrilled with her hair, that she followed up with Rosa after the wedding to get some tips (and Rosa was very sweet to email with her!) :) Rosa was really communicative through the whole process. I was looking for a makeup artist who have a lot of experience working with POC and able to achieve a more natural Asian look and that’s what I found with Rosa. Rosa is the sweetest and patient. She really listened to me on what I want to achieve for my wedding looks and allow me to take my time to trial different looks I wanted for both hair and makeup. With Rosa, you get the best of both world for hair and makeup. Also have to mention her techniques are chefs kiss! My hair and makeup lasted from 7 am to when I wanted to take them off at midnight. I am so, so happy to have chosen Rosa to do my, my mom’s, and sister’s hair & makeup for my wedding day. Since we all do not wear daily makeup, I was looking for an artist that would give us the “no makeup” makeup, slightly elevated look for my intimate celebration. Rosa listened to us and executed - she kept it minimal and sparkly (just like we asked), incorporated our own makeup products where she saw fit, and even went above and beyond by offering me an extra makeup trial to really nail down my bridal look. I can honestly say that I felt beautiful and comfortable on my wedding day, and Rosa played a major part in making that possible....
