I was on my way out to camp at Broxton plantation for the week, and needed to grab a few last minute things. I needed ice, fishing string, smokes, and some bait. I was ready to pay a premium for my lack of planning and preparation, but their prices were very reasonable. The lady told me they had just got crickets in, but they weren't very, "lively" at that particular moment, so she gave me a little discount. Turns out crickets must sleep in the cold? As soon as they got in the sun good, they were as lively as crickets can be. The brim loved them too. It's nice to know there's somewhere you can stop if you thought you'd missed...

Service was personable and polite. Good selection of snack crackers, cakes, candies, sardines & the like. Practical fishing supplies. Good selection of drinks. They open at 7 am and stay open till 8 pm to cater to outdoor enthusiasts. I've been there before. And I'll go back again. I even found a great set of reciprocal saw blades for a reasonable price and was going to need them on...
