Food Lion — Local services in Hancock

I've been shopping there for the past 3 years. I've always had great customer service. The past 4 months I've shopped there, No one greats me when I go to check out. Some of the cashier's act like they don't like their job. There is this one cashier who's always complaining I don't know her name but next time I'll get it. I'm going to try one more time to shop there next week and if I still get the same bad customer service. I will drive the extra miles to go to the Berkeley springs food Lion they are so much nicer there and more welcoming. As someone who works in customer service I always make sure all of my customers are happy. Maybe you all should do a check up with your employees to make sure everyone is happy next time they come in. A bit more training is always worth the effort. Get it together food Lion staff. We have been going to this store since it changed hands from Pittman's some time back. Pittman's was decent but it was obvious they had gotten to a point in life where they were uninspired and tired. Food Lion did a fantastic job of revamping the space and keeping it bright, clean and well-stocked. The staff are always pleasant, polite, helpful and sociable. The produce section is awesome with some local offerings and often great deals. Kudos to Food Lion for keeping a top notch grocery store in the community that often seems forgotten or overlooked by other chains. On top of all that, the bathroom is immaculate. How rare is that? Some of the employees are great! But more often than not, a cashier will ring up an extra item in multiples, and cost us $2-8 more. What are the reproductions? Yes, we could call customer service for them to "make right". But that doesn't pay for gas. Would be 5 stars, but this happens nearly every time.
