Genesis Organic Farm — Local services in Hanford

It's fairly easy to find the farm. Make sure to call ahead to make your appointment. Tracy was our guide and was super friendly. She guided us through the farm and told us about all that was available for picking. We walked around with my son and niece picking and eating delicious fruits. All the fruit we picked was incredibly good, I ate so many blackberries and my son and niece got a chance to feed the goats and help pick all kinds of yummy fruit. Be sure to bring water, sun block and a hat it can get pretty hot. Prices were very fair and the produce was awesome quality. They also have veggies just ask about what's in season for picking. Jeannie is simply lovely and so helpful explaining everything. We tried new fruits today and instantly became fans of persimmons. We hope to go back soon for more! My kids LOVED the cucamelon maze, and picking their own pie pumpkins. We had a chance to meet the owner of this small but luscious orchard. Jeannie is a kind and wonderful lady who gave us a nice tour of her orchard. The kids enjoyed picking from the blackberry bushes while we picked nectarines and plum varieties. She gave us a very nice surprise at the end of our expedition.
