Customer service is wretched. They confirmed my service appointment three times by email, four times by text. Their service tech didn’t show up so I called, they said he called out and they forgot to tell me. They said they’d send another guy and he’d call with an ETA. I never got a call. I called again and they offered to reschedule. I never got a call from the schedulers. They only have service appointments during regular working hours (if I was always home I wouldn’t need home security). I used a PTO day for this.
As follow up, someone did eventually show up 7 hours after the scheduled appointment. The service visit fee was supposed to be waived (bc of a camera malfunction) but wasn’t. As I don’t have time to spend hours on the phone with them I’m just paying the fee. It’s not the first billing error I’ve had with ADT. Previous error was for $100, I called four times, wasted hours of my life and never recouped my money.
