The owner is very friendly and has a great personality. He made the trip really enjoyable. There is a nice selection of items above and beyond apple cider. The fresh made donuts were amazing. While there we also grabbed a variety of speciality flavor jellies, peanut butter, popcorn, and maple products. But back to the cider. It's perfect. It has a true strong apple flavor with just the right amount of sweetness, unlike the cider sold in groceries stores that taste watered down and sugary. It's unpasteurized, for some that may be a deal breaker. The apple cider vinegar it's also really great. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth the stop. We were camping at Mohican State Park in early November 2020 and were out riding our bikes one day and saw the signs for the Mowery Cider Mill and decided to follow said signs and find it. We did and it was not disappointing. The cider was nice and cold and had been pressed the night before! My only regret is that we did not pick any up before we left to our next destination.
