Barton Park is a wonderful park. Tons of hidden trails. The water is cool and refreshing. I took my dogs here when it was nearly 80 degrees out. The dogs are old and need special care. I chose this park because walking through it is easy enough for my old dogs. Plus they also had a ton of fun, and even enjoyed hiding in the shade to keep cool. They take excellent care of this park. Left my Jeep down at carver while we floated from barton and when we got to carver the gates were closing but staff stood there for 20 minutes!! Holding the gate open for our friend to be able to come and pick us up with the other vehicle....
