Play All Day — Local services in Harlem Township

We were referred to Play All Day Doggie Daycare and Boarding from a close friend in the early days of the pandemic, spring 2020, and have been customers ever since. We love the white-glove service for our dogs and this clearly transfers to us as pet owners.

We love the consistent staff we partner with several times a week - everyone from the front desk to the back of the house along with grooming team. The facility is super clean and the operations for pet parents is a flawless process. You pull up, take your pups in, they get walked back to the enclosed play bay to join their pet friends with access to water and then a few steps out they have access to a safe, wide open outside play area. One of the biggest perks about day drop off services is you DO NOT need a reservation to drop your dogs off. This is HUGE and definitely the biggest competitor’s edge over other facilities. Less stress on pet parents and one less thing we have to think about if you wake up one day and choose to take your pups, you just go! Boarding is a service they offer with impeccable housing for our pets and comfortable sleeping quarters. Whether playing and participating in a day drop or picking them up from boarding, our dogs come home super happy and often sacked out in the short car ride back to the house. They love their friends and experience.

Play All Day operates in full transparency. The team posts pics all day everyday of pets, they put announcements out on IG and FB with updates, adjusted hours if they are doing work to the facility or there’s an upcoming observed holiday. You’ll often get opportunities to purchase holiday pics of your pets for Valentine’s Day or Christmas and it’s another additional offering the team puts together. Pet parents can participate in a birthday celebration where we bring in treats to share for all pets when our pups are celebrating a birthday and the team puts a shout out on SM for birthday celebrations and it’s a great way to get connected and stay connected in this close community.

Update March 2024: we now have another fur baby, Goose! Goose is probably the biggest fan of play all day out of all of us, he LOVES it! He is about 6 months old and HIGH energy! Play all day has once again become our saving grace to help us keep his energy low. He has a FitBark, and usually averages anywhere from 9-17 miles per day (yes I said 17!) which would just not be possible for us to give him that on our own during a workday. Our older dog Gertie still loves daycare but as she’s gotten older she has a little less energy, so she joins in on the fun one day a week and takes the opportunity to rest while her little brother is there the other 2 days a week 😉. We love play all day so much and will continue bringing our dogs there as long as they’ll let us!

Update 2023: we are still loving play all day after all this time! Our Gertie girl loves going to play with her friends and we have the peace of mind knowing she is in great hands and getting her energy out! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Play All Day! Our dog Gertie loves going to daycare so much, every time we say the word she spins in circles and runs to the door. It has been amazing for her to socialize with other dogs and be able to run around since we don’t have a fenced in yard at home. We trust each member of their staff to care for her and we are always impressed that they know each dog so well and can tell us who she played with and what she did each day. It also brings us a huge ease of mind when we need to leave town that she can go to a familiar place that she loves and does not need to be caged. The price is very reasonable, especially with the care and love our puppy receives, worth every penny!! We love you...

Play all Day is an amazing place to take your fur babies. I promise they are treated like their own. There was a time where to no fault of their own but Gracie hurt her eye. I am sure it was from her brother’s tail. It’s a strong tail wag and never seems to stop. They called me as soon as they noticed and sent a picture. Since I couldn’t get there they kept her in a separate room and checked on her regularly. I’m not sure if any other place would do that. My other old guy sometimes his paw bothers him because he was hit when he was a puppy. If they notice him limping or just needing a break they put him in a separate room until he’s ready to play again. I cannot give Play All Day higher than a 5 star rating but they deserve so much more than that. Before I was told about them I looked at other “chain” boarding facilities. Anything above the very minimum was an up charge. To give them extra pets $15 per dog. Play All Day is like no other they even take pictures and videos and post them on their Facebook page. I was also very shocked to learn they take them out late at night for a potty break. You will not find a better place. I’m beyond happy my childhood friend introduced me. My pups truly feel like they’re in dog heaven. Trust me take your pup there for just one day and you’ll both be hooked. Last thing my older guy has been kicked out of other places because he growled at other dogs so I was extremely hesitant on taking him but Play All Day watches him and if the feel he needs a break they give it to him I’ve had no complaints about his behavior.
