The place is horrible when I came back I was forced to go to go a program called STARS program by Norma Salazar which was supposed help me but instead everyone wasted my time with unnecessary group meetings which there no point to them at all, they assign me a mentor who never show themselves to me at all which they only inform AFTER the semester was over. I couldn't say no to them because it was mandatory or the classes that I PAY would be taken away, and as for the learning program I absolutely learned nothing at all I kept asking Garnet Gaither for help time and time again every time I had ask for his help from him but he would plainly ignore me or 'help me' by giving me zero at the spot. There was another teacher, Elizabeth Martinez who once tried to humiliate me all because she Failed to inform me that she wasn't going to be in class to help me with my work, and tried to put the BLAME on me because refused to do her job. I literally have wasted more than a thousand dollars out of my own pocket and I would not recommend no one any classes that involve computers or listening to the STARS program because you are wasting more than a 1,000 dollars learning on something you could be doing by yourself without wasting more thousand of dollars. They just try to be acting nice only to not help you.
The only good thing I can say is the cafeteria and bookstore are at least...
Read moreI attended the wind schooling course and I feel like I didn't get much hands on or certifications to help me be more prepared for the industry compared to other schools this course is good in terms of learning Ac/DC and hydraulics but the climbing class was basically nothing but going down with an SRK and knowing how to go down with a rogless 0 ladder rescue, most companies want you to be tested on ladder rescue with the rogless, milan and tracktel devices I didn't receive any of this I also feel I should have left with gwo certifications, btt bst gwo first aid and fire awareness certifications, rigging and flagging, I only left with an osha 10 cert and from my experience of applying to multiple wind jobs over a year after graduation it's not enough to...
Read moreThis school is good but they treat you like a child. The LVN program constantly threatens you with a zero or an absence if you forget to print out a paper they treat it like military school. They don't seem to care about how you feel. They demand perfection no mistakes constant threats of zeros or even if your there you will be marked absent if you do something they don't like. You pay 15k to be treated this way it is not good. We have enough pressure without the added negative commentary that is provided. If you expect us to be Nurses and we passed to get in I think we have earned the right to be treated like adults and not children. It is very obvious that our rights as students are the last thing on...
