I have a minn kota ulterra. I was having problems with it not deploying in cold weather. My service guy and minn kota could not figure it out. They kept telling me it was my brand new batteries. So i called jman one day and he told me that its common in a certain year of that unit and told me exactly what my repair guy needed to replace. J-Man’a bailed me out the day before a two day tourney in Lacrosse. My trolling motor basically fell apart during pre fishing. Naturally, I tried to fix it myself first. Thankfully I took it in after all because he not only fixed my original problem with high quality parts, but cleaned up my mess from attempting to fix it on my own.
