Stacey did an absolutely amazing job with my puppy! She had her for three weeks and laid a great foundation for an amazing dog to come. Stacey was professional, communicative, and so easy to work with. I got frequent updates about the progress she was making and was so receptive to any questions I had, both during training and, especially after I got my pup back. She started by meeting me and my pup in person to discuss the primary concerns and areas of focus I wanted during boarding. We created a plan and a timeframe that worked for both of us. I love the fact that the training/boarding was in her house in a normal “house” setting and not a dog run or large concrete kennel. She only takes in two dogs at a time to be able to give each the proper focus and attention. After it was finished she spent well over two hours with me going over all of the commands, rules, tips and recommendations that she had put in place. We started at a public area to challenge the dog and help train me as much as the pup on how to correct and act in that setting. I got so much more than I expected with this training. My 6 y/o dog "had" a behavioral problem with strangers. I travel everywhere with my dog and I was constantly stressed about her trying to bite someone to protect me. Now I can walk Carter right next to someone and not feel tensed up because of this trainer. Stacey is very professional and easy to work with. We took advantage of her board and train plus individual lessons as well. The part that I didn't expect was a noticable improvement in my dog's interaction with me. She had little motivation when trying to train her on my own because I didn't understand subtle dog language. Now that I can pick up on her body language, she has become more attentive and listens when I call her name. She has quit running off and wants to be near us at all times.
