I wouldn’t know because we didn’t get to do this one. We attempted to go Friday only to get there to find out it was closed. Apparently it got rained out and they put up a sign in front of it saying rained out, visit horror house. We had already bought tickets online so we had no choice but to drive to horror house which is 20 minutes away. First of all, it wasn’t raining when we went but it rained lightly earlier in the day which means they probably had been closed for several hours or didn’t even open. If that should happen they really need to post it on their website that they are rained out or whatever so that people like me don’t unknowingly buy online tickets just to drive all the way there to find out it’s closed and now have to drive 20 more minutes to a totally different attraction! We came from Kentucky so it’s not like we are right down the street! It was a big inconvenience for us and we didn’t want the house, we wanted the trail so we had to do an attraction that we didn’t want. Thank god I didn’t buy the combo ticket for both attractions!!! Had I bought the combo ticket and then only been able to do one of them I would have been livid!!! The house was ok but I thought it was kind of stupid honestly and my friend had warned me the house was stupid but the trail was good so that’s why we wanted to do the trail and not the house. But that’s not how it worked out and we were severely disappointed. Now I won’t go to the trail seeing how the company that manages it operates and has no communication whatsoever! I guess if you are gonna go make sure to drive by first before u pay for tickets and make sure they are open and if they close it is not communicated anywhere other than a sign in front of the place which doesn’t help until u actually drive...
Read moreIll start by saying i rarely leave a bad review. Im really not a complainer. But this was one of the worst haunted houses ive been too. Its short. Theres no startle effect. The only good special effects was the swamp thing area. And that was magnified by the effect that it torrential downpoured the moment we started the trail. The rain was the best part. If your going to do this attraction anyways, pay the extra 10 dollars for thefast pass. Its 30 dollars instead of 20. We made the mistake of not, and waited 2 hours while the fast pass people were rhrough in like 15 minutes. Lots of people left while waiting. No refunds. There is a decent area to hang out around a fire. And they have food vendors, carnival food. Also, dont buy your ticket online, bc you still have to wait in a line to get an actual ticket and a number of your bus that youll take to the trail. Will...
Read moreMy review is a little delayed as we visited back in 2020 but we really enjoyed it.
It was something we stumbled on in passing and had we blinked, we would have missed it. Parking was a tricky and not really marked out well but we made it work.
The line was long-ish but not unbearable. I was a bit surprised by how many people were opening drinking in line but maybe that was an anomaly.
The bus ride was a blast! Easily the best part but the trail was pretty good. There were a lot of younger actors but they really brought their a-game and still got a few good scares.
Definitely...
