Terrible experience. Terrible pro shop accompanied by a very rude staff. Course in terrible condition to which it appears to have close to 0 maintenance. Please do yourself a favor and save yourself the 28 dollars.
Edit to reply to the owner's reply: To begin you should be ashamed of accusing a purchasing customer of lying. That is just downright pathetic. Instead of fixing your problems you are only justifying my claim, I insist you see a professional. Also, I am referring to a previous time I went about course conditions. To continue, are you a moron or do you not understand how taxes work? 18 for 9 holes and 8.50 for a cart equals 26.50, you follow? And with taxes that is in the range of 28 dollars. Fix yourself.
Reply #2: You are asking me what MY problem is; however, you need to look in the mirror. I beginning to feel a lot of misplaced anger. If this is due to the fact "issues" at home then I know a couple of therapist that you NEED to see. You have called a paying customer a coward. That has got to be one most pathetic things I have seen. I would like to add that I am not the only one who has complaints about staffing here. Almost half the reviews here are complaining about the detrimental employees that customers have had to torture themselves with. Then you say you pay more in taxes, but the funniest thing is I have been told that Robin's Nest is struggling to stay open. You, my good sir, are a...
Read moreWent there today with a group of 8 people. Encountered 2 staff members and the owner all at different times and each person was so rude, not friendly at all and terribly unprofessional. Acted like we were inconveniencing them by buying food and drinks, etc. Really unfortunate since we had two families who are teaching the game of golf to their grade school/high school kids. I wish we had spent our $200+ somewhere else. Maybe everybody was just having a bad day?
In response to the owner asking when I "claimed" to be there: I had a 1:40 tee time. The reservation was not under my name. I have made 3 Google reviews in my life (the other 2 were positive) so I don't feel the need to list why I had a bad experience since, based on your response to me (as well as your actions at your course), I don't feel it would be well received. I would think that being a small business owner who's success is based on people bringing their hard earned money to spend on family fun, your only response to a negative Google review would be "I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience. I hope we will get the opportunity for a better experience in...
Read moreCouldn’t give it 0 stars, but would have. Starting out, the staff here are very rude, unprofessional, and have no idea how to run a golf course. When you walk in to the pro shop for the tee time you paid for, you are greeted by someone who takes 30 seconds+ to even acknowledge you because they are glued to their phone. Asking them to check in for your tee time is like a foreign question to them and always have some remark or attitude to their response. Even if you’re just using the driving range, staff will still find a way to be rude or tell you off. Was told to “speed it up” for the people behind us (2 holes behind us) after asking them if they wanted to play through. Something to note, earlier in the round the same people behind us threw a ball while I was teeing off near the tee-box and blamed it on the people ahead of us. Overall filled with a bunch of old people trying to make the game of golf and your overall experience here uncomfortable and unplayable. Parts of course are very unmanaged and unkempt. For example hole #5 white tee box. Greens have unfixed divots or ball...
