When we went we were the first ones there and decided to look around the shop before the tour started. The shop was amazing and we saw some cool machines and crafts made just from alpaca fur. When the event actually started we were surprised when Mr. Yaya brought in three live alpacas for us to pet while he told us about the history of the alpaca farm and how he and Mrs. Yaya started the alpaca fur business. Once he was done talking, he brought us out to the back where we were all given a pouch of alpaca feed and allowed to feed the alpacas after a quick lesson on how to feed them. We all got up close with the alpacas and had fun feeding them, though we were advised to stay away from the two babies because they couldn't eat solid foods yet. Once the alpacas were done eating we watched Mrs. Yaya open the gate and let the girl alpacas run around the enclosure. After that, we went back inside and Mr. Yaya showed us the automatic felting machine where he let the kids feed washed fur and watch as the machine worked to felt it. Once the whole process was done, he cut the felted fur up and asked a young boy to distribute it to everyone. Overall the tour was fun and engaging, and a good way to...

There's a reason nearly every single review here is extremely positive. The people running this farm are incredible and the experience is unforgettable! We paid I think $12 per adult and it was well worth it. Super educational and fun. The people were so kind. The alpacas of course were amazing and seemed very well cared for and loved. Feeding/petting experience was 10/10 fantastic. The space was also very clean and well kept. The people were really great with the young kids in the group, fantastic job. Overall experience seems really ideal for kids maybe 5 and up roughly, depending on the individual kid. Toddlers and kids who don't like to sit still for long might have a harder time with the educational part of the tour where you sit and listen to stories and learn about alpacas by the farm owners. It's extremely captivating and engaging for most ages but the youngest kids probably can't focus for as long and might get tired partway through. There are alpacas roaming around while this is going on which probably helps, but just something to keep in mind depending on the kid's...

What an absolutely WONDERFUL experience! It was my first visit and I was with my daughter and 2 beautiful grandchildren, ages 3 and 8. They have been several times before but never at Christmas, the farm was decorated like a winter wonderland and when you walk out of the barn, which is decorated beautifully and has elves that like to change the decor of the Christmas trees, you are transformed into a serene world inhabited with the most beautiful Alpacas you have ever seen! You literally walk among them, feed them and pet them! I had SO much fun myself and watching my grandkids faces was priceless. It was an experience and memory that I will cherish always!! I will be going back to take the actual tour where YaYa (yes, YaYa is REAL!) actually tells the story of how YaYa's Alpaca Farm came to be. Can't wait! If you EVER get a chance to visit or want to do something you have NEVER done before, I HIGHLY recommend a visit to the farm, guarantee you won't be disappointed and will have a delightful...
