If you find yourself driving on U.S. 50 past the Ellenboro/Harrisville exit in West Virginia, take a few moments to go off and turn toward Harrisville. A few miles down the road in the middle of town, make a right on North Court Street and head up the hill toward the courthouse Almost immediately on your right is a small shop, Berdine's 5 and Dime. Excellent shop . Very nice employees friendly and informative. I am a city boy and i found things i recognized from the 70's and my mother found things she knew from the 50's and my neighbor took me there because i had an ear ache and showed me an ear wax stick for 2.50 cents it cleared up my ear and i canceled my doctors appointment.So i say toys for all ages in there from like 2 to 80 years old,lol too much to talk about but worth going to check it out.If your thought your choices were only the dollar store or driving to parkersburg for gift .This choice may help located center of harrisville right near court house building down a one way side...

Go go go go! If you are ever in this area, such as at North Bend State Park or elsewhere, go here! This is one of the last 5 & dime stores in the country and it’s an absolute gem of a store. There’s something for EVERYONE here. My girlfriend and I easily dropped $40 as did our friends, lol. There’s a lot of old-timey toys and doodads and candies.
