We had traveled in our 2018 Ram 3500 Laramie from Dayton OH to Darlington for the Fall NASCAR race pulling our 43 1/2 ft RV. After arriving we made the normal Wal-Mart run and on the way back to the track, felt like we had run over something, after not seeing anything we drove back to the track realizing the truck would not shift to high gear, and the check engine light was illuminated. I called Hartsville Dodge, to see if they could take a look at it, and was worried about what to do, if in fact it was the transmission. A thousand possibilities went through mine and my wife's head - How were we going to get back to Dayton in time for our son to start school, plus get the RV back. The Service Advisor Beth Powers and Stacie took the time to calm our fears and were willing to do whatever it took to ensure we were taken care of. Beth explained our situation to Mike Stone, the General Manager, who started the wheels to finding us a vehicle if ours could not be fixed in time to head back. We were given personal numbers and told to call if we needed anything at all. For three stranded people, I don't think we could have been taken care of better. The fact that we could very easily been written off and put off "till next week" I am extremely happy to report they had the part overnighted and we were back on the road two days after the issue happened. This dealership has restored my faith in humanity, as they chose to not to take advantage of the situation in order to make a buck. There are definitely awesome people at Hartsville Dodge - An Extreme Thank you to Beth, Stacie, Mike and JD - Thanks for the conversations and rides to and from the track. God Bless!

Front Brake pads and resurface rotors. Horrible service, 1 I could never get a straight answer on the cost to fix my brakes that "oh it'll be about this or that" 2 they took at least 2.5 hours to complete the service. 3 they charged me almost $300 for the service - which now apparently they didn't charge me but gave me a credit meaning I have to pay out $600 now to cover the "refund" and pay for the original service because of their mistakes. 4 I called after getting a bill for$600 and I was told oh that was a mistake sending it don't worry about it. Hmm but I guess I should worry cause not sure where I'm supposed to magically get this money from. 5 I had my car serviced at another dealership that offers a free inspection and they told me I had nothing wrong with my rear breaks - this was after this Dodge location tried to convince me I needed to have the rear breaks serviced as well ( another $300 or more).

Had a great experience purchasing my new Jeep. The salesman was very patient with me as I could not make my mind up. He spent alot of time going back and forth with my undesivatness. Even looked at other location for what I was looking for in my Jeep. Once I made a decision he got everything rolling while I was at work and worked around my schedule. When we arrived they had all the paperwork ready to go over and sign and the Jeep detailed and full of tank of gas. Everyone was helpful for start to finish including setting my app and phone up to the car. I would highly recommend buying from them.

Well, let me tell you a long story about Southern Hospitality. My family and I were headed home from Myrtle Beach to Ohio. About a hundred miles into the trip, my Ram 3500 decided to give me a ā€˜Limp Mode’ warning. My wife Googled the closest Ram dealership to us and found Hartsville. We altered our course and drove 40 miles to the shop. We were beyond heartbroken and nervous. We walked in and were met by Lee, the Part/Service Manager. He immediately put us at ease and said they rescue people all the time. He immediately had our truck taken back to be looked at. Bobby was the Master Mechanic who looked at it and came up with the bad news. The DEF system was shot. Lee then began a frantic search for parts to get us back on the road. He didn’t have them so he began calling his contacts at other dealers. After some time he was able to locate what was needed. Their normal parts runner was tied up so Lee called his father in law. The parts were 80 miles away. Off he went. Mind you, it was Saturday and they were to close at noon. Our camper was parked in their huge back lot and we were thinking the worst. Staying the rest of the weekend in a hot camper. Bobby and Lee had a discussion and they both agreed to stay to get our truck fixed. Really? On a Saturday? When NASCAR was in town for a race? So we settled in to the waiting area and buried our heads in our phones. One of the newest sales guys came in and showed us how to work the TV’s. We asked a lady if there was a PizzaHut close that delivered. She then said that she would just take us into town to get anything we wanted. Katherine was her name. She was an excellent hostess! She gave a running report about the history of the town and its people. She was very sweet! Back at the dealer, all the sales guys came in to watch a baseball game. The Pirates! They’re our team! Turns out one of them was the brother to the opening pitcher for the Pirates, Jordan Lyles. This made watching the game even better! Every single person there made it a point to see if we needed anything, from sales, to the mechanics and even the guy who was detailing the cars. They really went out of their way to make a bad situation a lot better. Our truck did get fixed by about 1:30 that afternoon. We were so relieved. We can’t say enough good about the place and have made a decision to buy our next vehicle there just because of how they helped us....

I can't believe how amazing my experience was here. I went in originally to trade my poor little suv for a slightly newer used vehicle. I wasn't really looking for anything fancy, just something maybe a little smaller, better on gas, and affordable in my not super flexible price range. After dragging my salesman, Darren, through multiple vehicles and test drives, he legitimately listened to everything I had to say about each one. He was really funny and I felt like he was very honest with me about what I was looking at.

They ran all my numbers and honestly I thought all may have been lost and that I had wasted his time. It looked like I wouldn't be leaving with a car after all because nothing really fit in with my budget. He left for a few minutes and brought up one we hadn't looked at and just told us to test drive it and see. It was a brand new 2017 Fiat 500X. Everything I had said about what I wanted in a vehicle was there, and then some. Drove it around and thought there's no way this is in my price range. Got back to the lot and was insanely surprised to find out they could get really close to what I wanted price wise.

The guys there worked really hard to get me into a not only a better car, but a new one with affordable payments. To say I'm happy is an understatement. Thank you Darren for putting up with my conflicting wants in a vehicle and for finding me something I absolutely love. I still can't believe you guys were able to put me in something as nice as this.

Also, shout out to the service department for handling our jeep renegade. Originally bought at an upstate dealership (sorry again), we weren't aware it could go 5000 miles instead of 3000 and they were honest with us instead of charging for an unnecessary oil change. When it was time, we brought it back here and had great service both times. This is actually why I shopped for my car here first. Definitely a great bunch of people. 10/10...

Hi,i called westgates to get the information for when I brought a car back in 2021 because it was totaled. I was speaking to the owner core he gave me all the information I needed and then he ask if I was looking to get a new car and I said yes I want another red mustang he said sure I have one in NC and I can get it here for you I texted him on the phone and asked did he had the car there and he said no it's my wife and I anniversary and I have plan but I can have it there on Monday and I said ok thanks enjoy your anniversary have a great weekend so I never got a call from so I called and ask if the car was there and he said no I have to go to the sale I think and I said can someone else go get it and he said no ill have it here by Wednesday I said ok that's fine so I never got a call or text so I called back again it was still not there so when I spoke with him I told I'm I found one in Florence with less miles and was cheaper and he said the price is the price and I said ok still thinks he was going to get the car so I called today 7/24/25 to see if he had the car i was put on hold so long till my lunch break was over so I sent a dear friend by there to check for me and when she got there the car was not there so she asked was he going to get the car and he said I never told him I wanted it but that's a lie I told her to put the phone on speaker and I told him I felt like I was begging him to get a car for me and I still have to pay for it so I told her to leave and he could keep his car I will give my money to someone else and he act as if he could have cared less about my feeling and how I felt as I type this message he done called and text but I'm good you can keep your car unjust will not prosper I'm human to and no one should've to feel like that when they are buying a car ..... will never get any of my money AGAIN pray he change his attitude if he want his business to...
