We had a fairly challenging estate to deal with-big old family house of 53 years, four outbuildings and just lots of stuff. We interviewed numerous estate sales people including the local expert who "does all the best sales" as she stated. This person charged me(!) to do a barely one hour walk-through (NOBODY else charged for a walk-through..!) where she didn't even open certain cabinets that had piles of Waterford Crystal and Silver and then, 6 weeks later, declined to take on the sale. She's really lucky I don't print her name here! We chose Daneen and Scott because of their positive "Can-Do" attitude and willingness to just jump right in, get it scheduled and get it done. This was a massive project! Daneen and Scott were forthright about what to put into the sale, did their homework on stuff they weren't expert on, advised on what to toss and got it done in a timely fashion. I had a great experience with Second Chance Estate Services. Despite a tight timeline and an extremely full house, Daneen and Scott were ready to jump right in. They were communicative, knowledgeable, and their entire team accomplished an incredible amount of work in a short time. Even with the quick turnaround, every item was treated with care and respect, and anything we labeled to keep was carefully set aside. The auction process was clear and well-organized; everything was photographed, listed, and picked up by buyers without us having to lift a finger. Daneen and Scott from Second Chance Estate Services were fantastic from start to finish. The communication and ease of working with them made an impossible job not only possible but pleasant as well. The timeline given was very short and seemed unmanageable with the volume of items to go through. Daneen, Scott and team really went above and beyond to ensure all items were catalogued, photographed and well presented for the auction. (Amazing, really).
