Worse hunting experience ever. Complete rip off. They pack hunters into a hunt. Each group had at least 9 guns in it. None of the hunting parties brought back more than 2 birds TOTAL. Many people went on their first hunt then left early. The birds were there but they put us in the wrong position and blinds too big because of the number of hunters they crammed into a hunt.
To top it off, we bought a pheasant hunt with 30 birds. They only put out 21.
Sleeping accommodations and food same as hunting. Packed people into rooms. Frozen biscuits and sausage patties you buy in bulk for breakfast, bulk cold cuts for lunch with gas station bread, and dinner you might as well drive an hour to the nearest Sonic because you’ll have better food. We had 7 hunters, didn’t have a chance to shoot a bird. We left early with other groups too. Waste of...
Read moreWorst outfitter experience I’ve ever had. Showed up to camp and walked in the office. They were all sitting in a room, not a single person stood up, introduced themselves, or shook our hands. I was told we were staying in rooms 5 and 6, dinner was at 6:30 and basically sent away. I have never felt so unwelcome.
We had a group of 8 for a goose hunt. We were added to a bachelor party of 7 for the morning hunt. 15 hunters and 2 guides laying in a field with sparse pressured birds is ridiculous. 17 grown men laying in a small spread.
The guides never once introduced themselves to us or even asked our names. Not a single time. It was wild, couldn’t believe it. Not killing birds made this even worse.
I have been on many guiding hunting and fishing trips. I’ve never experienced anything like this. What a...
