In 2019 the previous pastor was the one who made the decision with my grandma to start putting me in children homes and every one of the ones he suggested were physically and mentally abusive. When i was like ten the youth pastor made a paddle for my grandma to use on me and when i wouldn't let her land a blow on me she would just call him up and he would witness and threaten that if I didn't bend over for her that he would administer the paddlings himself. i am deeply scarred from my experiences with that church and nearly entirely turned away from God because of it. Also i was taught that if you went Baptist you were going to hell. the doctrine was harsh and often led me to question Gods love. no one would believe me when I tired to talk about what was going on in my grandma's house and they all believed her because she was "an outstanding Christian woman" so I was physically abused for yrs and no one ever helped me and believed i was just a bad child. not to mention the amount of drama that's happened in the church over the years. anyway that's all i...
