If one star was an option. We visited Wally's today in the early afternoon, one of us attended by a diabetic service dog. Upon entering, nothing was said; however, after our short visit while cashing out the cashier ( a blond woman who was repeatably short with customers both in the store and on the phone) in front of other patrons said "This is a food establishment, don't bring that dog in here again, it is getting "hair" all over or food" We then went on to explain the dog's service and offered the dog's ID which she refused. Her actions and verbal abuse continued and she once again said "Don't bring that dog back in here" ... The dog is a slight dog that was being held as not to put her on the floor out of consideration of other patrons realizing the limited space of the establishment - especially during a busy holiday Easter season. We were left wondering how the dogs fur was getting in the food considering she was being held and had on a vest! The cashier who continued on with her rant got more aggressive and confrontational following us to the door as we were making our way out as other patrons stood in awe of her behavior. We have filed a compliant and we do hope that Wally's is recognized for its prejudice against those with disabilities and...
Read moreThere's a large selection of fruits & vegetables inside and out including pineapple, mango, kiwi, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, different kinds of tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini, potatoes, onions etc etc... The CSA program just ended: that is 20 weeks of just picking up a bag of vegetables & fruit on a Wednesday: cost $250. for the season: well worth it, I can't wait for next year: do it.
