Came here in the middle of the night to conduct a Craig'sList transaction. I didn't choose the meeting place and had I done I don't think this would have been my first, second, or third choice.
The hours of operation had long since ended and the exterior of the building provided minimal shelter against the unrelenting rain. Abandoned truck on cinder blocks was a nice touch.
The single street light for the parking lot flickered appropriately for the several minutes I was there, waiting for the woman I had been in contact with to show up. I finally resolved to call her and ask where she was, when she picked up she said she was already there. That's when a pair of headlights flashed on then off then on and finally off behind me.
I got out of the truck, approached her's, handed the money through the slightly open passenger's side window as instructed, and then grabbed what was now officially my dehumidifier from the back of her pickup. Her utter lack of knowledge about the operation and features of the dehumidifier gave me an unshakable thought that it may not have ever technically belonged to her.

Clerk was friendly and got my Chili Bowl. My uncle said depending on who prepares the chili that day its hit or miss. Mines that day was a bit too soupy and oily, reminded me of a pizza soup since it had button mushrooms and olives.
