What a terrific experience ! I am a lifetime freshwater bass fisherman who enjoys new fishing experiences in many places that I visit. Judah showed me a brand new shoreline fishing method of catching fish that was exciting and fun. The scenery of the beach and lava shoreline was beautiful too. My wife came along and absolutely enjoyed exploring our fishing area and seeing various ocean critters up close, especially the turtles that swam all around us.

Judah was very helpful to make sure that two 70 year old folks were safe and took care that we avoided any sea urchins and/or ankle sprains as we trekked out to the shallow lava rocks to catch fish.

In 3 wonderful hours I caught and released 15 fish (6 species of Hawaiian shoreline fish) including a white/black humuhumunukunukua pua'a (trigger fish/ Hawaii's state fish), plus a black/green colored version (humuhumu'ele'ele/ black trigger fish). There are 38 Hawaiian shoreline fish species, so I need to return many more times to catch the others which is a really exciting thought. And I will be sure to hire Judah as my guide.

We have also hired fishing guides in Hawaii and many other places ( e.g. Costa Rica) and found that Judah 's charges are not only very reasonable, but a real bargain when compared to other Hawaii fishing choices. Judah's Hawaii Shoreline Fishing will be a definite repeat for us as we look forward to our next...

We had such an amazing and fun time fishing with Judah and David in April. We opted for the walk in adventure which was a short walk through very manageable lava rock terrain. Judah and David were so incredibly patient with my daughter (5) and my son (7), helping them reel in fish and rebaiting their hooks, while my older daughter and myself were more experienced and could cast and rebait ourselves. Judah and David are very knowledgeable about the area and let us know the names of the fish we were reeling and helping out with the photo opportunities so the little ones could look back at their catches. We caught a large variety of different fish, and were even excited by the invasive species that was caught knowing it was helping future fish by getting it out of their natural habitat. All in all, this excursion is affordable and worth every penny. Highly recommend and SO family friendly for kids...

What an AMAZING experience! My hubby is the fisherman and in general, I make the best of it. Today I actually had a blast! I cannot believe how many different varieties of reef fish we caught! We took a nice short walk to the hideaway and within minutes I had a fish on the line. Judah was just as excited for me as I was for myself. He set the fish free and replenished my line. This went on for hours, minus a nice quiet lunch break under the trees. Judah showed great consideration for our safety and seemed like he genuinely cared that we had a great experience. He knew all the names of the fish in English and Hawaiian. During the trip he shared information about the Hawaiian history and culture, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this trip, especially for those peeps who have not had much luck fishing. I would guess that we caught 12-16 different...
