Wai'ula'ula at Mauna Kea Resort — Local services in Hawaii

What an amazing place to stay. We rented Villa No 334. Private pool and hot tub. 2 master bedrooms and an additional room with a bathroom. TVs in every room, living room and by the pool too. Viking range and double oven, Subzero refrigerator and all the extras you need to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. We probably spent more time at this townhouse than any other place on the island. Extremely quiet, even though it was near the road. And let me tell you about the stars. At night, we turned off all the lights and went outside. We could see the part of the Milky Way galaxy, Venus, Mars and even the Andromeda galaxy. Amazing. Hands down the nicest place and the best vacation my family has...

We booked 3 condos through South Kohala Management (H201, E202 and F201). The condos were awesome and the grounds of the resort were stunning! Over 10 years ago we stayed at the Mauna Kea Hotel and the service was underwhelming for the price. Renting the Waiulaula condos from South Kohala Management was the best decision and a much better value. Each condo had 3 large bedrooms and we had access to the amenity center pool, hot tubs and gym. We accommodated 17 people in 3 condos which would have costed us more than double if we had stayed in the hotel. This is where we will stay from now on when visiting the Mauna Kea Resort, the most beautiful resort in the world. Can't wait...

Beware!!! If you are thinking about a rental here be very careful of the condo you choose. There is very loud construction going on adjacent to the condos in buildings K,L,M,N, which can be heard throughout the resort. It is extremely loud and disturbing 8 hours a day. They will be building through 2025 and 2026…6 days a week.The rental agency will not inform you of this, nor will they give you a full refund for ruining...
