My last visit to this store was very disappointing. I brought my Mother in to shop. She is a long time patron of the store. However, our last visit was so terrible, we won’t be going back. One of the white cashiers allowed 2 white ladies to skip her in line and after serving those customers the cashier ignored my Mother. My Mother was never helped and we eventually left the store without getting anything or service in meat cutting line. This is obviously an establishment that values white business over black business. Regardless of your personal beliefs, all money is green so shame on the owners for allowing this behavior from their workers. It’s bad business and causing you to lose paying customers. So if you are black and decide to shop here, you may or may not be waited on and you may have to stand there for awhile while the workers ask the white customers what they need and ignore you. Very disappointed, we have shopped here for years and never had this happen but it only takes one time for me to experience this type of ignorance and discrimination. Stopped by while out exploring the area... we are from Florida! Meat counter employees were friendly as all get out. Purchased some steaks.. which were the best we have ever had we could cut them with a fork! We threw them on the grill when we got back to our rv! And the homemade biscuits with garlic and cheddar.. Yummmm. And the corn on the cob was like we picked it ourselves! Fresh feed all the way around. We purchased some bacon wrapped pork as well for another feast. If you happen to be in the area you need to stop by. You will not be disappointed in the meat. They had awesome cakes there as well but I decided to pass on the 🧁 desserts! Amazing Family Owned Meat Market & Grocery. We were greeted when we entered & they had BEST hospitality. Robert Tripp (Market Manager) asked if he could help us with anything, was extremely helpful, and talked with Hubby about BBQ sauces & store brand rub. They will also ship their rubs if you call and order it from them. Everyone was extremely friendly, polite, and willing to answer ANY questions you have about ANYTHING in the store. We didn't even check out what was outside! But we got several bottles of BBQ Sauces that will travel back to Missouri.
