My fiancé and I are brand new, first time homeowners. We were fortunate to receive all the major appliances within the home, which was built in the mid 1990s. A day and a half ago the inevitable happened and we heard our washing machine grinding. Unable to buy a new one right away, we pulled up appliance repair near us and saw the many five star reviews for Neon Appliance Repair in Post Falls. I called and booked service for less than 48 hours later. Happily we got the same technician (owner?) that all the reviews raved about, Max. He was punctual, fast, knowledgeable, and very kind. He diagnosed the issues, resolved them, and reassured us we still had a while with our washing machine. He even recommended the best brand to look into when we do purchase a new one down the road. I just want to say I’m very impressed with this company. I live very far out of town, easily a 90 minute drive from Coeur d’Alene. Furthermore I live in the forest on an unpaved road several miles off the freeway, and it’s winter which means the driving is not easy. Well when my refrigerator stopped getting cold enough, I was pretty concerned about getting a repairman over to the house. I called Neon and despite being so far away, they agreed to come out and were very professional about it. Their specialist Max arrived and was very knowledgeable about our fridge. He spent several hours working on it and used many instruments to measure the electronics inside our fridge. Eventually he identified a broken sensor and said he could replace it, which I was very happy to hear. Max got it all buttoned up and our fridge is now humming just fine! Max went WAY out of his way to get my freezer fixed on a Saturday (night, no less!). I had so much money involved with meat and other foods that were thawing out! My only other choice would have been to buy a new freezer! There were no FACTORY parts available, but he was skilled enough to use other available parts to get it working again. I have used many other appliance repair shops in my short 61 years on this earth, and I can HONESTLY say that NEON APPLIANCE REPAIR is the ONLY shop I will EVER use again. I'm not easily impressed.
