Absolutely gorgeous spot, you don't know until you go down there it's like something out of Narnia. Fishing is trash though, caught some baby cat fish and crawdads but that's it. Beautiful place for winter camping though, the camp sites are very nice and right off the river. No one is out there either so nice and quite.

A bit of a walk but not a bad spot to site up camp but I forgot to bring more water, so I had to leave sooner then I wanted. The river was flowing and if I had a rod or my swimsuit I would have jumped in for a dip and fish some catfish from what I heard swims the river. So if I go again I'm getting a ride

Number one if your a true angler or at least try to be this is the place. Its hard to get to yhe water. But if you can forget about the rattle snakes free range cattle and everything else az has to throw at you youll catch dome minsters in this river.

Try not to use the port o potty on the southern most area. It stunk something fierce. A poor Chuckwalla lizard fell in there and we saved it with a stick and took him to clean water. The river was nearly dry at this time. We were coming back from upper salt...
