Bowers North Discount Store — Local services in Hazleton

I went to this store in Hazelton Ia. for the first and last time. Don't take your kids. Signs are posted everywhere in the store say don't let your children touch anything and the employees are not shy to tell you or your kids not to touch or you have to buy it. Didn't know resale stores of previously opened items was so unfriendly till I saw this place.

WAY OVER PRICED!!!! THE AMISH HAVE THE SAME STYLE STORE AND SELL FOR HALF THE PRICE AS BOWERS! GO TO THE AMISH!! Also, they don't test their items. Bought two kid power wheel cars and both didn't work once I drove an hour home. All they do is take in junk and broken stuff from regular retail stores. Junk that had been returned and that those stores wouldn't dare sell. Items that were damaged returns with defects and are broken. Avid shopper of the original Bowers, first time in this location. Glad it's a bit bigger! They had a good variety of items. I never leave empty handed, maybe partly because I'd fell my 30min drive (from Waterloo) would have been a waste if I didnt, but I always manage to find something!
