I've always used this location with the previous owner. The new owners are very nice, everything was completed quickly, and I like the new way of packaging, but some aspects weren't as good. The link sausage tastes great but the casing is too thin or not stuffed well or something now. It falls apart when you try to slice it into coins for cooking. Same issue on 2 deer.
Most recipes with hamburger call for 1 pound. Only one package I weighed was 16 oz, almost all are only 13 or 14 oz, so recipes are short. I'm assuming they just eyeballed it but it would help for cooking if they were a uniform weight. All the link sausage was 16 ounces.
I thought the meat had gone bad in a cheesy sausage dish then realized the packaging said "sweet pan" and it tastes like maple syrup, had to toss the whole dish. I definitely did not order anything sweet, I think sweet flavored meat is nasty, and didn't know sweet sausage was even an option, it was always normal before.
