This river is beautiful to enjoy mostly because of the variety of things that you can enjoy with it. You can have a picnic or hang out on the bridge by upper falls and enjoy the amazing mountains that are spectacular while enjoying the river. You can hike Upper Falls and then hand out afterward to just enjoy the river. You can walk, bike, roller blades, or long board on the paved trail next to the river. You can gauck at Bridalveil falls because it is stunning while and enjoy the river. You can fish on the shores while enjoying the serenity of this river. You can rider the Heber Creeper train and enjoy the river out the windows. You can camp, or just do a campfire dinner at one of the day sites or campgrounds next to the river. You can tube or raft down and enjoy this river (Just don't be stupid like me and tie tubes together with little ones on them. I almost lost my little girls that way.) Such a great river, but mostly because there is so many great ways you can have a spended day doing something fun while enjoying the beauty of this river. (BYW up the river further is one of my favorite falls called Upper Provo River Falls...

This paved road is very long and scenic, it can be used for both pedestrians and cyclist, passing trough wedding veil fall is very nice, at the beggining of the trail it has small scattered picnic areas with grills where you can spend time with your family and just relax and enjoy nature, although it can get crowded depending on the season. Theres parking and restrooms at the entrance, no fee required, but if you packed it in please pack it out. Fishing is alowed in some areas, just know that you still need a Utah fishing permit. There is a trail that goes up the wedding veil water fall but be careful as it can be slippery near the water, there is another hidden trail that takes you all the way up to the top of the water fall (the 1st fall), but i'll let you guys explore that one on your own, just know that there are almost always tourist hikers getting...

I’d say fly fishing in the Provo is for intermediate skilled fishermen. I love it. The Provo fish are harder to catch than other rivers because it’s fished a lot so it makes it a good challenge! If you can get the right fly and the right hole, you’ll be end the morning with 3-6 beautiful trout. If you are just starting, don’t get discouraged. I went 7 times on the Provo before I caught something. If you need any tips and tricks, check out a local fly shop, they’ll help...

Kayaking down the #ProvoRiver in #Utah is a #breathtaking experience that immerses you in the beauty of #nature. As you paddle along the river, you're surrounded by towering mountains that stretch up towards the sky, their slopes covered in dense forests that change colors with the seasons. The water reflects the vibrant green trees and the #bluesky above, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The #river itself offers a gentle, yet exciting ride, with sections of calm water perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery, interspersed with small rapids that add a touch of adventure to the journey. You might spot #wildlife along the banks—deer, birds, and maybe even a moose if you're lucky. The sound of the river flowing over rocks and the occasional splash of your paddle adds to the tranquility, making it easy to lose yourself in the moment. As you navigate the bends and turns of the river, you'll pass by lush meadows, rocky cliffs, and even a few historic sites, offering a glimpse into the area's rich history. The Provo River is not just a #kayaking destination; it's an escape into the heart of Utah's stunning #naturallandscape, where every turn brings a new and beautiful vista. @Provoriveradventures plan to operate into October, weather permitting. You have the option of choosing between a guided or self-guided trip down the river, either solo or in a #tandemkayak. Kids are welcome to join, making it a great #adventure for the whole #family. #familytime #familyfun #kayak #provocanyon
